I too had a recent bad experience here. The service was bad as the usual typically rude British service, the couches were dirty and unkept …how could the kitchen in the back be any better? Food was cheap, tasteless, overpriced and just not worth it.

The food here is so sub-par, over-priced, and small portioned that it simply is not worth it. I think some of the good reviews here are a year old but the whole staff changes every 5 months and more importantly so does the cook he's just NOT a chef.

The appetizers were so small it was a pathetic insult to serve to the customers, very disappointed. I asked the server and the cook to make my hamburger medium-rare and it came well done on a stale bun. This place is horrible I'll never go back there

This pub is absolutely terrible and I will never recommend anyone to order anything from it’s menu besides a pint of beer. It was a better pub like 2 years ago, but it has changed ownership 4 times in the last 2 years and it is now in the toilet! :(

The food was excellent . The pigeon breast starter cooked just as we ordered it as was the rump steak. The last time I had steak this good was 4 years ago. Very good panacotta too not rubbery or watery! This place should be full in the evening ! Very nice waitress too, friendly and helpful ..... This is a smart casual modern pub with the standard Farrow and Ball type grey and stripped boards .... relaxing atmos....

Please try the Quiche, it was the best I have ever tasted and the crumbly pastry just melts in the mouth. The whole meal was a pleasant experience and good service too. Please try the Quiche. Try the Quiche.

Very poor food. Only people in the restaurant which made for a flat evening. Waiter service overly attentive as had two waiters dealing with is so was approached about everything twice which was extremely irritating. Waste of money

Service was polite but very, very slow even though it was not very busy. For the location, food is expensive but it is of a high quality and extremely well cooked.
