From Our Editors
Sara Adams, the owner of The Terrace, is armed with a Leiths diploma course and many years of cooking experience. She opened this restaurant to offer simple and delicious British food. The restaurant has an impressive menu to suit all palates; including fish, meat and vegetarian dishes in each course. Customers can choose from the set lunch or dinner menu with a choice of two or three courses, and will be extremely satisfied with the quick and professional service of the friendly staff. The menu is regularly revised to include the seasonal dishes on offer at the particular time. Their smooth soufflés, puddings and sorbets are a must for dessert and simply seem to melt in the mouth. The restaurant provides seasonal food that is locally sourced and British inspired. With James as the head chef, the team offers an array of dishes that is carefully prepared with the freshest ingredients. The crispy lamb breast, cooked with a brilliant combination of sauces and flavors and presented beautifully is indeed a delight to the senses. Sea food lovers would relish the asparagus and crab fritter platter. The drinks list includes wines, cocktails and other drinks that are chosen individually for their merits and to satisfy the range of customer tastes. They review and update their wine list periodically, so customers can always request an inclusion of their favourite drink. Customers can team their meal with a classic cocktail, such as Negroni, or a vodka martini, or any other suitable drink to accompany their choice of food, while relishing the fresh and seasonal menu offered in a neutral ambiance.
