Nice people and an ok afternoon tea. The setting is great but sandwiches hard and the rest pretty standard.. be warned a vodka and lemonade was £9.55!! Would do it again on offer but wouldn't pay any more.

The tea and pastry treat themselves presented good value for money however, the service was poor. Told all window seats were reserved although they were empty! Even more unfortunately, one of the waiter personal hygiene left a fowl smell which hindered our enjoyment of being able to enjoy our afternoon tea fully.

Went to The Tower Hotel for afternoon tea for two. Which i was looking foward to as we would have a view of the Tower Bridge. When we arrived a waiter came over and asked us to select our teas. We both selected a normal black tea. I also wanted to try this unusual herbal tea that i have never heard of but i also wanted the black tea just in case i wasn't keen on the other tea, so i asked if i could try the herbal tea also. However without a single word the waiter picked up my black tea from the table and replaced it with the herbal tea and walked off. We was both shocked and thought that was very rude and bad customer service. Most places would allow you to try it and others are unlimited teas/coffee. If we hadn't paid for the afternoon tea before hand, we both would've got up and left and went to the food market outside which had a great atmosphere and be out in the sun. Would've most likely been cheaper too. That one incident ruined our whole experience and didn't enjoy it at all. We both couldn't wait to leave and literely just took small bites of everything. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. I have never experienced such poor service. Most restuarants would either say from the start or in the discription only one tea or they would go out thier way to give you a good experience and service so that you give recommendations and keep coming back. It's quite a shame really as the hotel was beautiful and we would've stayed there the next time we visited London however that experience left a bad taste in both of us. Wasn't a friendly restaurant at all no smiles or basic manners that you would expect from waiters or even a menu of what was being served to us. We had to guess what was what. Sorry but definitley won't be returning to the Tower Hotel.

Exemplary level of quality customer service by all, in particular the two lovely male waiters who were so charming and attentive. The afternoon tea itself was yummy and the views fabulous - we will be back! Many thanks for a great afternoon :-)
