I am not a religious person but I always liked church music, I also liked organ instrument itself.
I have played piano for more than 10 years, these guys were desperately trying to introduce something new and FAILED MISERABLY.
It was more like listening to horror movie which is being played by a newbie, a symphony of awful noises with no melody no rhythm, nothing!
Plus the performers were hidden somewhere and you couldn't see them!
Had to leave in the middle.
I wouldn't bother to go even for free next time....
So peaceful and just lovely to see inside the glorious Cathedral and give yours ears a treat!
It was beautiful organ music. However, some of audience was chatting and coughing which were a bit distracting. Far from that it was great!
The organ recital was really great. The Cathedral setting awesome
Tickets said 7pm but that was when doors open, performance didn't start until 7.30pm.
Tickets said it would be around two hours - was just over one hour.
A great venue and a great event for lovers of organ music, would definitely recommend
Lovely cathedral to visit anyway but the concert was a bonus. Wonderful
A lovely evening of music & interesting people. The meet & greet for Groupon ticket holders was friendly & helpful.
Definitely take a warm coat/scarf etc as the Cathederal is drafty.
The seating is typical hard wood church seating and feels a bit uncomfortable toward the end.
As it’s a 2 hour performance you will need to take your own water & perhaps your own cushion.
