Worst afternoon tea I have had with Groupon (and I've had many!)
Processco of afternoon tea, but they ran out of Processco when we arrived.
Only 3 small fingers of sandwiches each not even two slices of bread!!
Two scones but had to share a tub of clotted cream. One slice of stale cake between us to share. We had to leave it as it was rock hard!
They never refilled the tea pot either.
Would not go there again, very disappointed. A complete waste of money and felt very let down as this was a birthday gift for a friend.
It was lovely sandwiches and cakes presented nice coffee was real good and tea. Didn't realize got a gelato to so that was a bonus for us.
It was just OK at best, very basic. Sandwiches were Tuna - no mayo or cucumber, and chunky slices of cheese with ham. There was a scone for each of us with a small tub of clotted cream and small jar of strawberry jam. The scones tasted and looked like they had come out of a pack from a supermarket. As for cake, there were two slices, for four of us! We had to slice it in half ourselves to we could all have some. Although, again, i suspect it was a shop bought victoria sponge. Then randomly, there was a selection chocolates.
The best part was the choice of gelato or sorbet afterwards, although we did have to chase this.
It would have been nice for staff to come and check on us and make sure everything was ok.
