Very disappointing and complete waste of money. I appreciate it was raining but there was nothing to look at and there were only a couple of stalls really was not worth the money - certainly wouldn't call it a fayre. We make our own cider and hoped to get some advice but there was no-one to speak too. Was not welcoming and toured the whole 'fayre' (I use the term loosely) in under 30 minutes - my advice don't bother!

The event was billed as an Apple and Cider Fayre, so we were disappointed as there was just a cider press, a stall selling small and misshapen apples and one stall selling cider. The event seemed to be more a fun day for children with rides and sideshows, than an interesting event for adults. The displays about hops and hop picking we remember from before, are gone. There are some interesting reconstructed houses but these looked shabby and not well looked after. We would not go again - we love local history and culture and thought that there would be more about cider making / tasting / history. We were glad that we had not paid full price.

Was slightly disappointed on our visit as we were expecting a craft and cider fayre as advertised. There was only one cider stand and he appeared to be trying to cope on his own. We queued for a while then gave up. Thought there would be craft stalls but there was only a couple.

The Apple and Cider Fayre (5/6 October 2013) was appalling. This consisted of a display of 'rare' apples, one man on a very small stall selling a small range of Biddenden ciders, a woman selling a rather dubious selection of said 'rare' apples and a display of apple pressing, which consisted of one or two young men bickering over who was going to show off their prowess in turning the wheel of the machine. I asked pertinent questions about the process but did not get a particularly interesting or enlightening response. The juice produced was bottled up and sold, there was no information or display regarding the actual cider-making process. Thankfully we had only paid the voucher price, had we been charged the full entry price we would have been outraged.

How about including local crafts.
