A B&B, pub and restaurant, The Lantern Pike Inn is located in Little Hayfield, between Glossop and Chapel-en-le-Frith. Operating as an Inn since 1851, the pub itself dates back to 1792 and the building of the turnpike from Old Glossop to Buxton. Situated in the Peak District National Park, guests can easily explore local countryside with walks at Kinder Scout Reserve. Bedrooms come with an en suite bathroom along with a hairdryer, flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities Breakfast comes in the form of a full English (eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, tomato and mushrooms), complemented by continental options such as pastries, yoghurts and cereals Homemade dishes using fresh ingredients are served in the restaurant, with fish coming direct from Grimsby Docks. The intimate bar has been listen in the Good Beer Guide since 2009, serving cask ales, lagers, ciders and wine.
