We were made welcome and provided with a drink while we waited in the bar for our table. There was a lovely open fire which we sat near. Even with the fire it seemed a little cold in the bar, but warmed up when we went through to the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We couldn't believe the delicious joints of meat that were on the carvery and a really good selection of vegetables. We chose the roast beef and it was cooked to perfection and we were both given a large portion and a yorkshire pudding. You then helped yourself to vegetables and gravy. The beef just melted in your mouth it was fabulous. We both had puddings which were very tasty, not quite hot enough for me.
There is a car park but it is very small plenty of room to park on the roadside. Will definitely go again.
