The story of Jamie's Italian began when Jamie Oliver, supported by his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, opened the first restaurant in Oxford in 2008. The kitchen's experienced chefs are committed to bringing a piece of Italy to customers all over the UK, with a menu combining traditional recipes and quality ingredients with innovative ideas and Jamie's signature twist. Guests can savour an array of dishes, including freshly made pasta, as well as steaks, pizzas and salads that can be complemented with a fine selection of wine and cocktails.
Good was poor as was service. Would not rexcomend
Blurb didn’t make it clear offer was on fixed menu. Very limited selection
Really nice meal. Thank you
Delicious food, great staff, lovely atmosphere.
We always enjoy a meal at Jamie’s Italian. As I don’t like too much Chilli they will meet my preference by individualising my meal choice cooked to meet my needs.
The atmosphere is good and staff friendly and helpful.,
It is a pity that several of these restaurants have been closed now including the one we usually go to.
Food ok but on a different menu for Groupon deals.
Enjoyed my two courses, but my daughter commented that her tapas plank used items from jars and was " vingegary" But it was the lack of ambience that spoilt our evening. Having booked in advance we asked to sit by the window but this was declined yet two people sat there there later. We then had to ask to change tables because ours was uneven and rocked despite the efforts of the waiter. The room was so cold that my daughter ate wearing her coat. It was impossible to have a conversation due the chatter of a busy room but also for the intrusive music.
