From Our Editors
The story of Jamie's Italian began when Jamie Oliver, supported by his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, opened the first restaurant in Oxford in 2008. Since then, the kitchen's experienced chefs have been committed to bringing a piece of Italy to customers all over the UK, with a menu combining traditional recipes and quality ingredients with innovative ideas and Jamie's signature twist. Guests can savour an array of dishes, including freshly made pasta, as well as steaks, pizzas and salads that can be complemented with a fine selection of wine and cocktails.
Waitress brought two wrong meals by mistake. The steak meal my husband had was tough and he did not enjoy it.
Lovely meal, helpful and friendly staff
Excellent food and service
We used our voucher in Edinburgh and were quite disappointed. The food was nice enough, the service a little bit slow (there weren’t many other customers) and there wasn’t much ‘atmosphere’ in the restaurant. Value for money it was ok, but don’t plan to visit again.

Really nice meal. Thank you
Delicious food, great staff, lovely atmosphere.
We always enjoy a meal at Jamie’s Italian. As I don’t like too much Chilli they will meet my preference by individualising my meal choice cooked to meet my needs.
The atmosphere is good and staff friendly and helpful.,
It is a pity that several of these restaurants have been closed now including the one we usually go to.
