I liked everything about the place it is quirky, relaxing and comfortable. The staff are wonderful, we love it because it is different.

The food was very average. Not impressed but interiors great and restaurant well laid out. There were additional fees for most of the mains so ended up being a very expensive meal given the food wasn’t good. Choice puff filled with warm ‘dairylea’ !!!!! Mushy pea and processed ham soup !!!!!! Husbands game pie was soooooo dry and over cooked and our chic pots were different consistencies which was very odd. Not great honestly
Food was great
Bit lost when arriving as just wander in, no reception as such or nothing to indicate where to go or who to see and took a while for someone to actually ask us what we were there for, even after trying to get someone’s attention numerous times.
But food experience grear
Bit difficult to find but amazing experience
Got the wrong food but was so delicious ate it all anyway! Would definitely revisit!
Excellent food, great service! Highly recommended.
Read so many bad comments on Trip Adviser that slightly worried about going. However, we found the experience to be very good. Food was good value for money paid, service was excellent, building was amusing. Seating in the restaurant rather uncomfortable hence the star rating. Overall would recommend.
Groupon was very good value. You do have to pay for extra drinks and some dishes (eg if you want a steak), but that's your choice. There is no real 'outside space', so everything is served in the dining room, with the option of coffee in one of the several lounges. Lots of interesting art work and sculptures to look at.
Fantastic food, atmosphere Staff could not do enough and the hotel is full of quirky items of interest loved every minute will definitely be back
