The story of Jamie's Italian began when Jamie Oliver, supported by his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, opened the first restaurant in Oxford in 2008. Since then, the kitchen's experienced chefs have been committed to bringing a piece of Italy to customers all over the UK, with a menu combining traditional recipes and quality ingredients with innovative ideas and Jamie's signature twist. Guests can savour an array of dishes, including freshly made pasta, as well as steaks, pizzas and salads that can be complemented by a fine selection of wine and cocktails.

Very polite staff, pleasant space but the quality of food was just decent. Ordinary ingredients and drinks, nothing particularly special.
Told 10min for a table 25mins later got seated by a draft window informed waiter will be over to take your order 30 mins later came over placed order another 20mins got the starter a bowl of soup then about 45 mins later got the main arrived at 7 left at 10 food was fine but on a quiet night food took far too long
Very disappointing, little choice in the menu unless you are prepared to pay extra. Food was bland and tasteless, couldn’t eat it. Won’t be making a return visit.
Decent fayre, nice place. No complaints.
