Based in Burwell on the outskirts of Newmarket, Sim2do lets budding aviators take charge of a full-size Boeing 737/800 simulator. The company was formed by the Mockford family, who boast a history in flight control dating back to the First World War. They converted a formerly operational Boeing airliner into a virtual training pod in 2012, in which guests can try out their flying skills for up to 90 minutes or hire it out for the whole day. It’s suitable as both a fun activity and as practice for pilots.
