Poised in the heart of the North Yorkshire countryside in the village of Newby Wiske, Solberge Hall Hotel is located within a grand Georgian building. The peaceful village is home to historic buildings and the tumbling River Wiske, and is also a short distance from the market town of Northallerton. The open expanse of the North York Moors National Park is just a 20-minute drive away, where visitors can take in the history, scenic views and hidden towns of the area. Outdoor activities such as cycling and horse riding can also be undertaken by those looking for a shot of adrenaline. The hotel features a variety of classic, executive and superior rooms, as well as suites fitted out with luxury touches for those looking for something a little special. Alongside comfort essentials, such as a large bed, armchair and en suite facilities, each room includes a TV, DVD player and iPod docking station, plus a hospitality tray. Traditional food with a contemporary twist is served in the AA-rosette awarded Brasserie which places an emphasis on ingredients from local suppliers.
