It may have been because I was riding my bike and coming up to the cross road traffic light junction but I missed the actual sign for the museum which was to my right. This is a working museum so no red carpet on the floor but the owners were the nicest people I have ever met and came up to us to provide further information and conversation about the vehicles. Wish I had visited the museum sooner.

Well worth the visit. Takes you back in time. Can have a short guided tour if the owner is not working on another bike to place in the museum. Not to be missed

There are a lot of old bikes and scooters there and it was very interesting

What You'll Get

The Museum

Fans of two-wheeled wonders can take a nostalgic ride through the past with a visit to The Norfolk Motorcycle Museum, gaining an insight into the industry’s history. The North Walsham venue houses an interesting collection of over 80 mopeds, scooters and motorcycles ranging from 1920 through to 1975 and a guide will be on hand to provide any information on the museums exhibits. The list of models is also highly varied, with wartime efforts from British marque AJS; scooters courtesy of super-popular Italian manufacturer, Vespa; and two Triumph Thunderbirds, made famous as Marlon Brando’s steed in landmark motorcycle rebel movie, The Wild One. With an ongoing policy of restoration and repair, the collection is ever expanding, and the staff also takes on private restoration and repair work.

Choose from the following options for museum entry:

  • £3 for one person

  • £5 for two people

  • £8 for family of two adults and up to three children
