Pieminister’s most impressive restaurant so far has recently opened in Nottingham and is a haven for pies, cocktails, cider and more. Bristol-based Pieminister credits Nottingham as the city that turned their pie dream into reality. It was during co-founder Jon Simon’s time as a student in Nottingham that he met his future business partner Tristan (who later became his brother in-law when Jon met his sister Romany) and the family behind the business are delighted to be back in Nottingham. They offer 16 award winning classic pies that use 100% free range British meat and all of their pies have won Great Taste Awards. The restaurant also offers a wide range of vegetarian pies, all approved by the Vegetarian Society. On top of all these culinary delights, the menu boasts a feast of sides (sweet potato fries, mac & cheese to name but a few), gluten free hot pots, fresh salads and even ice cream pies.
