Founded in 1909, Werneth Golf Club boasts a semi-moorland course located in the Garden Suburb conservation area. Spread across 62 acres and gradually modified over the last century, the area features a number of tree-lined fairways and many added bunkers. Having completed their round, players can visit the clubhouse which serves a wide selection of snacks, meals and beverages. Beginners and those hoping to hone their skills can also take advantage of individual lessons under the supervision of PGA Professional James Matterson.
Good tight course around 6 miles long
Good value offer will book again in future.flat couse with good range of challenging holes, not to long and greens true.tricky place to find (entrance inbetween 2 houses with small sign)
Good course to play friendly members and only downside was we played on a monday so the clubhouse wasn't open so the deal had to be made up of a cold drink and snackbar, this in no way affected our enjoyment of the day.
Great hidden gem. Beautiful maintained course.
Great course and would definitely play there again.
A lovely course. Enjoyed the round, would like to revisit in the summer months.
In a bit of a rough area - some flags missing or damaged by locals.
