Nestled in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Morwellham Quay has been used as the setting for the BBC2 series Edwardian Farm. Touching the shores of the River Tamar, this World Heritage site was once a bustling Victorian port. The waterwheel, elevated railway and historic buildings still stand amid the disused quay, which now preserves the environment and working conditions of Victorian life. Journeys on the railway run along the riverbank before entering the narrow depths of the abandoned copper mine.
