Snuggled along the banks of the Thames in quaint Henley, the Chocolate Theatre Cafe is an independent coffee house which offers an array of culinary delights and hot drinks, including hot chocolates, homemade patisseries, soups and salads. In the home of the royal regatta, they also serve breakfast and lunch.

Very friendly staff - we sat upstairs - amazing variety of chocolates - all obviously delicious - whats not to like. We upgraded and had a super bottle of prosecco highly recommend this upgrade. Would definitately visit again.

The staff were excellent, very friendly. It was a small bottle of Prosecco so if driving could bring home to drink later. Had cheesy chips and panini which was delicious. Would recommend if you don’t like plain chocolate to ask them if they can just serve milk or white chocolate. Wish we had asked as ended up bringing home lots of plain to give to others.

Disappointed. Phoned few days before to book a table as required. Very helpful woman on the phone. Arrived and gave man behind the counter the coupon. Who looked totally fed up and irritated by the coupon. Gestured to a woman sat behind us on a laptop and said for her to deal with it. She finally did amidst other situations she was dealing with on the phone and laptop. The original man served us at the table, brought the platter of slightly soft looking strawberries sliced banana and a selection of 5 chocolates accompanied by a very thin sauce and which was the consistency of rich chocolate milk. Can’t say it was worth the price of the deal either in quality or ambience .. shame
