Every time we have been the food has been excellent and served by very friendly people who obviously try hard to please their customers. Would recommend to anyone!

Just a small cafe with a limited menu but well cooked food and friendly service. A little gem indeed.

Voucher for lunch, main, side and drink. Rang and reserved a table, when we arrived no table had been reserved. Don't use the voucher on a Sunday lunchtime, when I booked I wasn't told it was a set menu of either 1,2 or 3 courses at set prices, no specials being served. The side dish was classed as our vegetables although they were already included with the main meal, so that was £5 off the original value of the food and we had to pay £7.99 for our two starters which we ordered to make up the full cost of the meal which was for £27.38. Very disappointed, and not happy at all, however the food we did have was good.

We went for lunch. There was a very friendly welcome and the place was very well kept and clean, but a bit on the cold side. We both chose battered haddock, chips and mushy peas, bread and butter and a pot of tea. We have not tasted such beautifully cooked fish in thin batter for a long time. It was excellent. The young assistant even went over the road to buy me some tartar sauce as they had run out. A really excellent meal. We shall definitely go again.
