For the past 30 years, the team at Toby Carvery have been on a mission to bring British roast dinners nationwide. All meat is sourced from UK grass-fed or free-range farms that meet Red Tractor standards. Every day, each Toby Carvery restaurant lays on a family-sized feast. Tender, slow-cooked meats, eight lots of freshly-prepared veggies, including crispy, ruffled roasties, and freshly-made Yorkshires served crisp, fluffy and piping-hot. Vegetarian and vegan options are on the menu for those who leave meat off their plates, and a wide range of drinks can be paired with the dishes for a boosted indulgence. A kids menu and all-you-can-eat breakfasts are also available.
Nice meal, nice place to eat. No problems. Would recommend.
Brilliant cavery every time.
So easy to use. No fuss made just turn up and use. Carvery is fresh well cooked and plentiful. Will definately return
Staff were friendy and helpful food was good.
It's years since we ate at a Toby's and I think it's gone a bit downhill. The food's quality isn't as good, the restaurants have gone shabby and the staff ratio has diminished (they all look a bit jaded/worked to death). Maybe it's better if you eat earlier, I think we ate at 7.30 pm, but I don't remember waiting at the servery for 5 minutes until the server came to give us our meat in the past, there was always someone there. It's probably too cheap to be quality these days, even before the voucher.
I usually go sundays! However because it wasn’t valid on Sundays we had to go in the week. Which was better, especially with children. Now I will always go mid week now.
I have been to Dronfield Toby Carvery several times.
There is always a good choice of meat & the vegetables etc are always plentiful & are unlimited if you are hungry enough to need to go back for more.
The only slight niggle is that service is sometimes slow even when they are not busy.
Other than that they are definitely worth a visit.
Excellent food, good service
