This was the worst place I have ever been to, not worth the £10 I paid, I think this place needs to be shut down.

The Arthurian Centre has to be a joke; really. There is absolutely nothing to say, apart from one armoured knight and some laminated photocopies of old photos. Visitors are enticed to visit an unkempt outdoor area and to walk to a supposedly King Arthur's stone; said stone lies on the bank of the stream, happens to be one of seventh with a Latin inscription, but one can only see the stone from above a bridge! Garbage defaced the otherwise pleasant country walk to the stone. There is a huge electric pylon which is probably the main attraction on the site, not exactly very Arthurian so to speak. This was such a waste of time. I have made sure all my friends know that there is no point in visiting The Arthurian Centre. It is much better to drive a few miles down the road and go to Tintagel. I was very embarrassed as I initiated the visit with two friends of mine; luckily we saved the day by going to Tintagel. Interestingly enough, the full price visit is £3.50 per adult, which also happens to be the "discounted" price advertised by Groupon.

Please do send out information to schools within the vicinity, we're in Okehampton and I know that The Arthurian Centre isn't published enough. It was only through Groupon that we found out what we had been missing right on our doorstep for so long. My daughter who is in her last year of primary even mentioned that it would of been good as a school trip.
