Nice food, made a difference to the traditional afternoon tea with the addition of onion rings, simosas, nachos, & onion bhajis, & dips too. However, the one & only downside was that we had to wait over 30 minutes for our cakes to come on another platter which was way too long. Hence losing 2 stars on this review. The location is in what can only be described as a run down garden centre. The signage to the place is a 'blink & you'll miss it' affair. Nans Kitchen needs to relocate to new premises. It doesn't surprise me that it was only through Groupon that we became aware of this establishment because we'd have never have known its existence otherwise.

Should have to change picture of afternoon tea. Very misleading nothing like it. You get bought in cheap scones with jam and squirt cream on very small and bought in Battenberg cake nothing like picture and cold coffee. wouldn't go waste off money.

Quirky little place tucked away in a small garden centre..would miss it if not for our groupon deal. Afternoon tea was really good..great little difference was the hot nibbles alongside the usual sandwiches, salad, coleslaw, crisps then a selection of cakes. I opted for the glass of proseco which was only a small extra charge..lovely touch to be offered alongside either tea or coffee...Staff really friendly, told me the history of the name of their cafe..nice touch for them to remember their grandmothers and create such a lovely memory of them...well done, they deserve success...thank you for a lovely afternoon, you will see us again..

Allow plenty of time to enjoy the experience as it is slow paced, giving opportunity to enjoy the food in a lovely quirky place with plenty of time for conversation with friends or family. Food was hot, tasty and very plentiful. Staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely be going back again.
