The blending experience was from 8 mixed teas (herbal, fruit, green and black) and we couldn't use others. As I mainly like black tea this was not what I had hoped. Also the whole thing was as a group of 8 people so you couldn't chat and enjoy the company of who you had booked with. The actual afternoon tea itself was terrible. There was 1 slice of cake which was admittedly very tasty but no choice over flavour, then there was 2 white sliced bread small finger sandwiches (one tomato and one cucumber) and a shop bought scone with cheap jam. It was by far and away the worst afternoon tea I've ever had and definitely not worth the money (even at the groupon price). I was actually embarrassed as I'd bought it as a gift. The actual tea the shop sells is very nice but take my advice and just go to buy tea only.

Me and my wife had a really nice afternoon there. was something different. I found the woman who ran the course extremely knowledgeable and I learned quite a lot about tea. My only criticism, and this is just a personal view, is that I don't like having my photograph taken, especially by people I don't know and found the forced group photographs a bit uncomfortable. I understand she is trying to promote her business and most people love Facebook, but I don't. Maybe in future ask people if they wouldn't mind having their picture taken for promotional purposes, and give people the option to refuse and step to one side. But like I say maybe that's just my problem, all in all enjoyed the experience and loved the wide variety of tea available.
