Afternoon tea sandwiches were on cheap bread and included beef which was very rare and inedible and chicken salad sandwiches. The cakes were disgusting, shop bought tiny Bakewell tarts and some sort of muffin cut in half which was stale! Scones were fruit (requested plain scones but were told they probably didn't have any but we could have another Muffin??!!!! There wasn't even any clotted cream for the scones. After seating us and bringing the so-called Afternoon Tea, the staff disappeared and there was no one around to complain to, in the end we just left very very disappointed. Worst Afternoon Tea ever don't bother going!! Have e-mailed Groupon about getting a refund- still waiting for response 😡😡😡

The afternoon tea was disappointing. Tea served in a coffee pot, 3 egg finger sandwiches and 3 ham finger sandwiches. One of which barely had any ham or butter. 2 lumps of bakewell tart and 2 small pieces of chocolate cake. No pastries and 2 small hard scones. Whipped cream not clotted cream. Even at £7 per head it was poor value for money.

My tea for two was a treat for my mother and I,when I booked I was advised it had to be 24 hour notice due to it not being made on site.how can sandwiches and a few cakes not be made on site.we had lovely fresh coffee which was nice but the sandwichs and cakes had clearly been sat in a fridge for a long time sandwichs stuck together and and wasn't nice to eat.i explained to the staff nothing said.
