Brewery, Winery or Distillery
From Our Editors
For the past 30 years, the team at Toby Carvery have been on a mission to bring British roast dinners nationwide. All meat is sourced from UK grass-fed or free-range farms that meet Red Tractor standards. Every day, each Toby Carvery restaurant lays on a family-sized feast. Tender, slow-cooked meats, eight lots of freshly-prepared veggies, including crispy, ruffled roasties, and freshly-made Yorkshires served crisp, fluffy and piping-hot. Vegetarian and vegan options are on the menu for those who leave meat off their plates, and a wide range of drinks can be paired with the dishes for a boosted indulgence. A kids menu and all-you-can-eat breakfasts are also available.
very nice lovely food nice and hot served very well
Great attentive service from the start of our visi
Recommend you book a table on line otherwise you may have to wait a while to be seated.
Always very hit and miss re quality Roasts just out of oven and tasted superb but vegetables cold and dry
May need to book it was very busy even though mid week
Dried up peas and cabbage, no vegetable gravy just a dried up pot, no cranberry sauce, no mustard, cooks walking in to serve and then walking back to the kitchen without a second glance at the food or the sauces!
Bad management. I thought we would get the same service as the China Garden on Stoke on Trent a lovely well run Toby but not impressed with dirty tables dried up food and hardly any sauces.
Has been a long time since going to Toby we used to go regularly until the prices went up. The meat was fine but the veg was far poorer than I remembered in quality and choice. Perhaps it was just that particular Toby but I won’t be going to that one again soon
No tips really just great food
