First established in Soho in 1926, Patisserie Valerie follows artisanal baking traditions brought to London by Belgian-born Madam Valerie, whose mission was to introduce continental patisserie to the English. Now boasting over 120 venues nationwide, the company adorns its cafes with the 1950s-inspired decor and serves up an array of freshly-made cakes, craft pastries, breakfasts, lunches, coffees and loose-leaf teas. Their specialities include meticulously-crafted croissants and viennoiseries, as well as homemade Italian-style gelato.
We had a lovely afternoon tea at the Whitton branch with my family. The sandwiches were ok but their desserts and drinks were amazing. We had the best service from the waitress who was working there (I think her name was Laura) considering she was by herself. Definitely recommend!
Service wasn't very good. The sandwiches were ok but the scones were very dry and seemed stale. The cakes also were not very fresh. We had to ask for more tea as once the food was put on the table we didn't have any staff come near us. So overall I would not recommend.
Treated my sis to an afternoon tea in the Kingston patisserie Valerie. She’s vegetarian & we were both very impressed. Good service, good food with refillable tea for me & refillable skinny latte’s for my sis. We’d definitely go back.

Staff very pleasant this time. Forgot milk for the tea and waited about 30-45mins for the food, but nothing major:)
