Lying in the heart of the National Forest, Rosliston Forestry Centre helps families uncover the beauty of nature and the excitement of outdoor adventuring. Fun can be found in the lush woodland, fishing lake, walks and cycle routes, where the resident kestrels, kingfishers and bats can be spotted. Those wishing to spend longer enjoying the natural delights can stay in a forest lodge, letting adults kick back as youngsters burn off energy playing laser tag, climbing, or practising archery. On-site live venue The Glade regularly hosts music events and festivals, with a proscenium stage suitable for all types of performing art. The centre is also committed to helping young people learn about forestry and the importance of preserving nature, and regularly hosts school trips and projects to let them get their hands dirty.
