The afternoon before the day Afgas was supposed to come to service my boiler (13 August), I emailed the engineer in question to confirm the time. He emailed back saying that they no longer were working in my area, despite the fact that the voucher clearly stated that they serviced all RG postcodes. A couple of weeks before, the engineer had cancelled a previous engagement because of family circumstances. We then rearranged a new booking for the 13 of August. If I hadn't contacted him, he would have just left me to wonder what was happening. He had had plenty of time to let me know what was happening.
I found this attitude totally unprofessional. This type of irresponsibility also brings Groupon into disrepute.
