The family-run Lakeside Cafe is situated beside Newmillerdam lake. The kitchen prepares breakfast, lunch, evening meals and afternoon tea using local ingredients. The traditional interior sports colourful feature walls and displays of period china, while outdoor seating offers views of the water.

The meal was superb. Small glass of wine v nice. We were a little early which wasn’t a problem for the staff but it might have been the reason we were waiting for drinks order to be taken. CB

Do not wate your money on this offer. Very disappointed meal steak very sinewy mushroom greasy also onion rings chips only best thing. restaurant cold no radiators on. We booked a table for 7.00pm and we were home by 7.45pm great night out NOT!!
