From Our Editors
Founded in 2010 by a group of veterans as a way to help fellow ex-servicemen with PTSD, Wild Survivor has grown into an organisation employing a team of military veterans, experts and outdoor instructors who lead a collection of survival courses, team-building experiences, school trips and boot camps. Passing on the knowledge they have learnt while in service, the team teach about the dangers of wilderness like hypothermia, lack of clean water, and poisonous plant life. They also lead seminars explaining how to escape a burning building, or survive open water or a storm. Wild Survivor trainers can travel to outdoor places, schools and care homes, wherever their pupils need them.
