damp and cold drastically needs updating, looks like just painted over damp, we had to ask to put the heating on, food was good although finding a hair put me off finishing the sandwiches, just 1 girl in whole place doing everything, it actually looks like a mans drinking pub, the toilets stunk to high heaven of sewage, it its such a shame as it could be a nice place, needs a lot of money pouring in to it . i would not recommend this as a nice place to eat at all, would not go again, a little embarrassing as i bought for a friend treat who accompanied me. i couldn't stop apologising to her.

The food was nice Very disappointed with the atmosphere and the setting We treated our parents ( 80 year ) and the pub was surrounded by swearing lads Football was on which we didn’t realise but the lads at the bar swearing constantly were not watching the football It’s not a place I would go for afternoon tea again We asked for coffee for two of the guests and they had none The waitress was pleasant but young girl behind the bar was rushed of her feet and had no time for us when ordering

Plenty to eat and drink - lovely staff who could not have been more helpful. Happy to refill tea for us and no problem changing prosecco for a soft drink. Definitely would return fantastic value for money.

Food was nice and service was good but this place is not the place you would expect to do afternoon tea. It was a 'puby' pub. We were seated at the back of the pub where it was very dark and the rest of the punters were drinking beer and there for the football. Just another very small thing was that they only gave us brown sugar to have with the actual tea.

Lovely staff very welcoming. The food was really really nice, brought to us on a little picnic table. Very fresh sandwiches lovely fillings. Delicious scones strawberries and cream, and as we were full they very kindly wrapped the lemon cake and coffee cake in foil for us to take home. We will definitely be going there again.

Bought a Groupon to have lunch here but were told they didn’t do them any more (even though it didn’t expire till 2 weeks later)! Then we said we’d eat there anyway but they said they had no food because they’d run out over the weekend!! Thankfully, Groupon refunded the voucher but we won’t be going there again!

Afternoon tea was lovely however there was a lack of atmosphere, the music went off and we had to listen to Thomas the tank engine on the tv in the other room. Also we had no napkins :-(
