Set within 14 acres of Somerset countryside, Haselbury Mill Hotel features lakeside and garden views for a rural retreat. A 15-minute drive brings visitors to the town of Yeovil, where sights include the 15th century Grade I listed building on Abbey Farm House, the Elizabethan Montacute House and the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Museum. Glastonbury, popular year-round for its array of historic buildings and natural sights, is just a 30-minute drive from the hotel, as is Taunton, which plays host to an abundance of shops. Visitors can also soak-up the sea air at Lyme Regis, a 40-minutes drive away, where long stretches of golden beaches and the Jurassic Coast await exploration. Both the Georgian mill and adjacent cottages have been transformed into rooms for visitors, each featuring en suite facilities and Wi-Fi. The rooms are also kitted out with small luxuries to make stays feel like a home-from-home. Located within the 17th century mill is an à la carte restaurant, where contemporary and antique features blend together. Many of the ingredients come from local sources, while the restaurant itself welcomes families and dogs. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea can all be enjoyed by guests. The grounds also feature a grand reconstruction of a Tithe barn, which was used in the middle ages to store farm produce that had to be given to the church. Nowadays, the barn is used to house functions, including civil weddings, proms and charity balls.
