Horrible place, the waitress was not very friendly, mediocre afternoon tea with a dead fly in one of the cakes. The smell was rancid too. 5 star hotel? More like 1.

This is no longer a five star hotel, they are obviously having a drain issue and were trying to cover it up with a very strong smelling air freshener. Service was patchy with English not being the first language of a number of the staff. The afternoon tea was okay for the price, but definitely not worth the rake price of £45

It was good experience .The staff was friendly .The scones at the end were fantastic .A bit pricy as afternoon teas can be found at good price as well but overall a good experience .Can recommend .

Lovely lunch in beautiful setting. Food good and staff attentive but not intrusive. The place is situated in a road with beautiful old buildings. A stroll before or after will make this visit even more enjoyable.
