On my arrival the previous customer was still in a chair, so needed to wait. The lady left shortly without leaving a tip... I was offered upgrade to the full head of highlights for extra, which I politely declined, then I was offered special conditioner for extra £15 which I declined so it was very intense atmosphere during my appointment, hairdresser wasn’t gentle as in the beginning, but I still left £5 tip, just because I always do, but not as much as intended due to unpleasant experience and being treated less valued due to Groupon voucher. I am aware of consequences of Covid on business, but it was unnecessary behaviour. Also hairdressers don’t know what other people have been through or dealing with, so I would not come back.
Such a lovely experience my hair looks gorgeous and I would definitely go there again
Thank you Fabi helen 💜
Fairly decent price for wash cut and blow dry but not as professional as other hairdressers in camberley. Half the shop is for hair, half for nails and 1 sink for rinsing hair, looks a little amateur although intending to look boutique. My stylist stopped mid blow dry to rinse the owners hair, who was having it tinted or coloured, not very professional. Also the advert on groupon suggests a £5 surcharge for long hair but this is really decided upon on the phone when booking and can be up to £10 surcharge, which mine was. Overal good but when looking at hair again in the mirror, a few strands were my previous length and had been missed and roots a little scurfy where shampoo or conditioner had not been rinsed thoroughly.
Although my first cut was fine, I went subsequently and there was a different stylist who made a terrible job of cutting my hair and cut far too much off - her idea of 2" is not the same as mine. The cut was uneven and I had to go to another hairdresser to get it put right. It was about 2 weeks before my daughter's wedding so I was not pleased. When I contacted the salon Manager, she said I seemed happy on the day and refused to refund me. It was only afterwards that I realised how bad the cut was. The Manager doesn't care and the stylist is still working there cutting other poor peoples' hair badly. I would definitely not recommend this Salon and advise people not to use.
Have to say that the lady who owns the salon was quite abrupt to begin with. I felt the voucher itself is misleading, I totally accept the extra £15 charges for colouring long length hair (she defines it as below shoulder) and £15 extra for toner. However I was having my hair cut short above my shoulder and I was still asked to pay £15 extra. That part was totally unfair as the voucher states haircut, colour and wash+Blowdry. It’s misleading and I ended up paying extra £15 extra for basically having my hair cut. It made no sense anyway because I understand that longer hair would need more hair colour and hence the extra charge. Fact that I’ve paid the extra £15 for short hair only meant that the woman wanted to make money whatever the situation. Isn’t exactly enticing to a new customer.
She then went on to offer other customers tea/coffee and totally ignored me, purely because I queried and argued my valid point with her, found that quite discriminating too.
The lady that did my hair was really good, was happy with what she did for me, she was trying very hard to calm the awkward situation that her boss had created to be honest. I’d go back for the hairdresser, but definitely not for the owner woman!
Went there to have highlight and haircut. I was charged £15 extra for having shoulder length hair. When I complained about the length of my hair and surcharge, I was told their shoulder length means the hair length just under your ears.
For my highlight, I showed her the brown colour and I was shocked to have blonde highlights as a result. I let her know I wasn't happy but she didn't even try to resolve, instead asked me how I liked to pay for £15 .
