About Benjamin Franklin House
Opened to the public on Benjamin Franklin's 300th birthday, the Grade I listed residence at 36 Craven Street combines an architectural landmark with historical value. The team at the museum strive to combat the traditional distance between the exposition and the visitor as they invite guests to architectural tours and live performances telling the story of Franklin's life. The on-site student science centre aims to encourage a spirit of enquiry through hands-on experimentation with scientific discoveries of Franklin's age.
