The main hotel is shut off completely so we were put in a basement room with no view at all. We'd booked a Prosecco afternoon tea and there was no Prosecco left. Food was average at best, overall very disappointing.

Where do we start…?!
Your afternoon tea is served in the basement of the hotel, whose decor is reminiscent from the 70’s.
Scones were as dry as old boots and it certainly wasn't clotted cream!
Very tired, little atmosphere and lots of building works and workers coming in to eat their packed lunch in the corner.
