My daughter and I were running late due to tube issues but we called to let them know and it wasn’t a problem. The seating is for 2hours but we were so hungry that we didn’t need so much time to eat!
My daughter was keen to dress up - it was a fun experience for both of us.
Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea.
It was a surprise for my daughter (8), my auntie and my cousin (15). All of us were delighted. The place is so cosy and it takes you to feel like you really are in the 20s dressing up as women of that time. The staff is very kind and friendly. If I have to impress to someone else I’ll take them to Betty Blythe for sure.
Such a gem establishment! I went for afternoon tea with my sister and 9-year old niece. We were taken downstairs to find a lovely cosy setting waiting for us. We had a large pot of English Breakfast tea and another with Earl Grey. The sandwiches were well filled and the scones and cakes delicious. My niece enjoyed dressing up in the 1920s jewellery and dresses, which added to the experience!

About Betty Blythe Vintage Tea Room
Mismatched china adorns the tables of the Betty Blythe Vintage Tea Room, where guests can often be found sporting '20s-style attire, courtesy of the in-house dressing-up box. Dainty cakes and finger sandwiches are the order of the day, always accompanied by tea, with parties and soirées being a speciality at Betty Blythe. They also offer outside catering for those who want to bring a bit of the Old Hollywood to their events, without the hassle of cutting the crusts off a hundred tiny sandwiches.
