Budding surfers can ride the waves during this indoor session. Complete novices and experienced wave riders will be led by instructors as they take to the FlowRider to learn the techniques of controlling surfboards. The soft membrane ride surface provides peace of mind so guests can learn the craft in a safe environment, and those who don't want to catch the waves upright can have a go at bodyboarding. After sessions are over, guests can relax and watch other participants traverse the water. Sessions are available during off-peak (usually £29.99) or peak (£34.99) times at Bodyflight Bedford or Xscape Yorkshire.
Choose from the following options for an indoor surfing experience:

Bodyflight first opened their doors in 2005 in Bedford, where they provide a number of adrenaline-fuelled activities for the adventurous, including indoor skydiving, simulated motor racing, and rock climbing. For those looking to stick around for a few days, accommodation is provided, as well as a playhouse for the little ones and a health club for adults. FlowHouse Xscape Yorkshire launched in December 2011 and has two double FlowRiders which, with their patented Composite Membrane Ride Surface (CMRS), offer a great way to learn to ride in a safe and controlled environment. Located at the rear of Xscape Yorkshire, the venue provides the opportunity to ride the waves, shop, eat and party all under one roof.
