About Breamore House
Breamore House opens its doors to visitors, unveiling an insight into a bygone age. The property's original 16th-century furnishings and artwork preserve a fragment of history in rooms still retaining their original Elizabethan style. Perched on the edge of the New Forest and with views across the Avon Valley, the estate is also home to a museum dedicated to the history of Breamore village. A number of reconstructed buildings serve as relics of the area's self-sufficient past, such as the smithy, brewery, dairy, saddler's, cobbler's and a farm cottage. Other artefacts include original examples of the steam-powered machinery that were once put to use on the farm. More contemporary amusements come in the form of a maze, adventure playground and gift shop, and groups can also stop by the tea rooms for a bite to eat.
