About Capoeira Ajitu UK
Capoeira AJITU runs classes of the Brazilian martial art at centers in Portsmouth, Southampton and Bournemouth, as well as overseas. Its leader Professor Bia Viana from Sao Paulo, brought Capoeira to the UK in 2002 through the Cultural Project Origens do Brasil. The aim of our AJITU group is to integrate people from different walks of life into a family-like circle, engaging them in Afro-Brazilian culture, music, physical skills,and social gatherings. The team also strives to provide equal opportunities for less abled children. Classes are held throughout the week, and the team also hosts events such as camping trips, charity events, and school workshops.
