We had a lovely afternoon tea at the Corus Hotel. The service was really good and the food was freshly made. We particularly enjoyed the salmon sandwiches and the scones which were crispy and delicate. The view into the park was a plus! Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I went this place to celebrate the S. Valentines days. Lovely room near the windows, very relax environment. The afternoon tea was amazing. The scones was warm and with a very good flavour. The sandwich’s and dessert was very good. The team was very polite. It is a place that we recommend and we will come back again. 5 stars ⭐️

Lovely Saturday afternoon with family. Tasty fresh food in a spacious comfortable environment. Very relaxed. Waiters were very professional, polite, helpful and looked after us very well. We have been before for afternoon tea and was pleased that we returned.

My friend and I had a lovely afternoon here with afternoon tea. Nice table by the window with great views of the park. Service was very good and friendly and we were served a second pot of tea on request. We had lots to talk about so were there for ages but were left alone and did not feel rushed at all, which is nice. Sandwiches and scones were not bad at all and the cakes were ok. I wouldn’t say it’s the best afternoon tea I’ve had but for the price I won’t complain. My friend and I enjoyed our relaxing afternoon and ordered a lovely glass of Prosecco to finish it off!

Great afternoon tea. Very tasty, fresh cakes, scones a sandwiches. Great coffee and tea too. Only thing I will say though is that we asked for no pork, and then our cakes etc arrived we were given the sandwiches with pork in it. The waiter changed it and we were given sandwich alternative. Probably best to make sure you tell them a couple times about any dietary requirements/allergies. Other than that, great food.

Don't book this if you want a tip! My experience yesterday was most uninspiring and most disappointing. Why? Let me point this out, I've had other afternoon teas in London paying for the same price if not less, and this was the worst. The only reason I gave it 2 was because the sandwiches was adequate tasting and the scones were of good taste and texture. Apart from this, everything else was either poor or very poor. I am so glad our friends couldn't make this experience yesterday, as this was a gift for them to cheer them up after a bereavement in the family. The positives: Easy parking outside the hotel. Good light inside the orangery. Still water was offered as standard. The negatives: 4 lumps of hard cold brownies and 2 hard cold museli flapjack squares were cut roughly. 2 mini soggy lemon tarts. Very much store bought quality. It was NOT as advertised and even on their social media had colourful cakes. I was looking forward to coffee cheesecake and macroons as stated. Brown indistinguishable jam which I could not detect which fruit. We were not offered extra hot water for tea or asked if all was ok when we were there for an hour or less. Teapot was dirty all around the rim with previous tea stains. Coffee of any kind were an extra charge which I think was a bit off putting, but I think the first one could have been offered as a part of the tea experience. Maybe we had an off day, the chef's day off. Paper napkins, evidence of crust on the finger sandwiches. I am sorry, but there as better places you can go to for the same price and better results.

The staff were very helpful and well mannered. I gave four stars as I only ate 1 of the four cakes. The sandwiches and scones very lovely.
