Cyclopark is a sports centre offering a collection of sporting activities for all ages and abilities, from families who want a family active day out to competitive athletes looking for a place to train. It is also is a registered charity whose aim is to promote cycling in its multiple forms. It does so by running a park full of mountain bike trails, sports zones and play areas for children, and also featuring a skate park. The Cyclopark also serves as a venue for marathons and triathlons, as well as BMX, cyclocross and MTB races.
My children use Cyclopark up to 3 or 4 times a week and I enjoy watching them, however, the recent introduction of car parking charges mean that not only will I not do this but will not use the cafe, and may even reduce the number of times my children go. Also, if one of my children is attending an evening coaching session there are age restrictions on the skate park which means there is nothing for my younger son to do.
