The Deal

Animal aficionados will be in their element with entry to Eagle Heights for the day, being among creatures such as elegant bald eagles and beautiful huskies. In addition to visiting the aviaries and new reptile centre, guests may want to witness one of the day's bird-flying shows or get up close and personal at the meet-the-animals session.

The Merchant

Cheetahs, meerkats, snakes and lizards are just a few of the critters to be seen at Eagle Heights, along with about 150 birds of prey in both indoor and outdoor aviaries. The wildlife park stands out due to its genuine care for animals, shown by its on-site private bird hospital and dedicated incubation and rearing facilities. Educational programmes, lectures, and conversational talks are also on the menu, along with hot and cold fare at the cafe.

Staff on arrival were friendly, flying display lasted nearly an hour and was informative, humorous and included in the price, outside play area to appeal to the younger visitors, all round good day out, could have stayed longer.

Eagle Heights has the potential to be an amazing place. Set in idyllic rural Kent the location is perfect. However, as it is a non profit organisation you can see money is a bit tight! A little tired. They have a great range of birds to see and the staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. This is not a whole day out but more of a morning or afternoon trip that is worth the money to support the organisation.

Great day out. The birds of prey displays were brilliant.
