The Fine Print
Valid 1 Nov 2018-28 Feb 2019. Limit 1 per person, may buy 4 additional as gifts. Each person may only use 1 voucher, irrespective of receiving multiple as gifts. Booking required online on http://www.lasswadestables.com/vouchers/groupon_bookings, provide Groupon codes. Present printed Groupon on arrival. 48-hour cancellation policy. Groups of 4 or more can contact the merchant directly and request a private session, subject to a £2 surcharge per person. Beginners must be 8 or older and able to trot for treks. Must be competent in canter for hacks. Valid Mon and Fri-Mon 10am-5pm, Tue-Thu 10am-10pm; trecks and hacks valid on weekends only unless a private group books. Max. weight: 16st, 224 lbs or 102kg. Must give approximate weight and height on booking so appropriate horse can be allocated. Must be 2 or older; under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, who does not have to ride. £10 rescheduling fee for cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking time, payable to the merchant directly. Please wear warm clothes, wellingtons or trainers, or shoes with a small heel. Hat is included, but riders can bring their own. New customers must complete a registration form prior to session; the form can be found on http://www.lasswadestables.com/rider_registration.pdf. Subject to weather; ride may be cancelled and rescheduled in very adverse weather conditions. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to session. £2 surcharge per person for beginners' lesson and lead rein trek due to staffing costs. £20 surcharge to upgrade to a 2-hour session, payable to the merchant directly on the day. About Edinburgh & Lasswade Riding Centre
There are approximately 50 horses who call Edinburgh & Lasswade Riding Centre their home, ranging from cheeky Shetlands to 17hh thoroughbreds. The horses and riders are paired up by temperament, meaning quiet ones are paired with complete beginners, while the more adventurous horses are teamed with seasoned riders. The centre boasts both indoor and outdoor schools, with plenty of hacking opportunities in the nearby forests. The horses can also be provided for country rides, while ponies are available for gala days and birthday parties. There is an area to entertain all family members, and those not riding can visit the horses in the stables.
