This autumn Shakespears Sister land in the UK for a tour celebrating their reunion, 26 years after they originally disbanded. The group was formed in 1988 by Siobhan Fahey, a former member of Bananarama, joined a year later by the American musician Marcella Detroit. They went on to record four studio albums, including two Top 10s. Their 1992 hit song Stay peaked at No. 1 in the UK for eight consecutive weeks and won the British Video of the Year award. Now that they’re back together again, they’ve released a new single called All the Queen’s Horses. Audiences across the UK can expect to hear some of Shakespears Sister’s greatest hits, as well as the new material.
