Wembley Stadium Tour
Football aficionados and anyone who appreciates grand architecture can explore Wembley Stadium, the largest sports and music venue in the UK. It has 90,000 seats and 98 kitchens, but its glory comes from the events it has hosted, from 1948 Olympic Games and the final of UEFA Euro 96 to the memorable 30 July 1966, when Geoff Hurst scored a hat-trick to inspire England to a 4-2 win against West Germany in the final of the FIFA World Cup. Guests will be able to feast on the sight of Wembley’s treasures, including the 1966 World Cup crossbar, the Jules Rimet Trophy commemorating England’s World Cup glory, and the original flag from London’s 1948 Olympic Games. Go pitch-side and visit the iconic Royal Box, take a photo with a replica of the Emirates FA Cup, see what the dressing rooms really look like, and walk out onto the pitch just like the players do. The biggest stadium-based press room in UK will open its doors for visitors to imagine the hustle and bustle of hundreds of journalists raising their hands in front of them as they take the central seat.
Wembley Stadium Tours has now launched interactive guides in German, French, Spanish, Mandarin and British Sign Language as part of a programme to make the stadium more accessible for all.
