Great cream tea and service

Great cream tea for four, lovely day out, definitely worth it!

Very friendly and good service

The service was abominable!. I rang ahead of time to book and advised about allergies and being vegetarian. They brought afternoon tea with meat sandwiches and nuts which was an allergic aubstabce for my friend. Instead of double checking food intolerances & allergies which is pretty standard, the tray was plopped on the table. We explained that one of us were vegetarian and one was allergic to nuts and it was mentionef at the time of booking. They had no note of this on my booking. They took the plate and returned with less sandwiches & smoked salmon to replace the ham sandwich! I explained again that I don't eat meat which is salmon. The waitress said we can't keep changing it as it costs too much money. She returned with 1 mini slice of a cheese sarnie which didn't replace the 2 mini salmon ones. The cream cake was stale and no one came to check if we wanted a drink refill or to check if we were happy. Disgusted, never again. I would advise if you have allergies and are vegetarian do not eat the Quicken Tree. Extremely disappointed that the customer service was a 0, inattentive untrained staff. Would not return ever again.

Lovely setting pleasant relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff. Nice to walk round the grounds.

Absolutely fabulous. The place, the staff and the food were all excellent. Will definitely go again.
