About This Deal
What is mole screening and mapping?
Also known as melanoma screening, this procedure aims to identify all the moles on a person’s body and includes a detailed examination of any that look out of the ordinary. The mole-mapping session uses specialist equipment to capture images of the moles and their locations on the body, which can be stored for future comparisons.
What happens at sessions?
Following a consultation, a technician uses a hand-held scanner to examine and monitor the health of areas underneath the surface of moles. For those opting for mole mapping, an in-depth analysis of lesions will be performed using a high-resolution camera.
What happens after treatment?
The mole evaluations are compiled into a written report, and any further action that might be necessary is recommended by the practitioner.
