The plugs are small but they root very quickly and within about 6 weeks they are ready for planting out in the garden. Protect from slugs however, as they went for the Dianthus, Achillea and Aquilegia

The plants were tiny, the package was so small it fitted through the letter box. A lot of the plants were so small they didn't have any roots and, consequently, died. A green fingered friend nurtured what was left and they are progressing. The plants will not be big and strong enough to be planted in the garden until next year

They are very small plants but to be fair if you pot them up and look after them they do come on nicely…don’t be tempted to plant them out or the slugs will get them.

They Perennial Pack B is a good selection of border plants, but as they come as small plug plants, you really need a greenhouse or similar to be able to pot on and then plant bigger, more hardy plants out after some weeks. I purchased for my dear friend who keeps me informed of their progress (she had a greenhouse) and they all survived and are out in the ground now and flourishing.
