Here’s an idea for a date night - frights and horrors! This York deal proves beyond all doubt that there’s a shadow lurking under every city, especially those that have seen their share of violence and unrest. And York certainly had - care to learn about its dark history?
This autumn season, Nightshade Productions have put together a Halloween-themed deal for those in the mood for a little bit of thrilling storytelling. Meeting the city’s self-professed most haunted pub, adults or children can sit down for a tale as black as the souls of their protagonists. Right here, in the city centre, blood and death ruled once; Vikings and Romans invaded to rule, civil wars broke out, and plagues decimated the city folk. Beware the knowledge the spectres impart, because it cannot be unlearnt! The modern, bustling city of York as the listeners know it might just never seem the same…
